Actress, Ananya Panday, who is quite busy these days in the promotions of her upcoming film, Linger opened up on the online trolling. Recently, at a promotional event for her forthcoming release, Ananya talked about the constant hate she receives on the internet. Talking about the same, the Pati Patni Aur Woh actress revealed that she gets hurt when she reads negative comments about her. In Ananya’s words:

“I don’t think the feeling of being trolled constantly will ever get resolved inside me. There are days when something affects me. I feel really bad when I get over it and feel strong. I feel I can deal with it. I think I am just trying to focus more on improving myself as an actor and giving people a chance to doubt me.”

Earlier, on Karan Johar’s show, Koffee With Karanseason 7, Ananya had expressed her feelings about getting trolled. In one of the segments of the show, the Student Of The Year 2 actress had revealed that online negativity had affected her mental health. Ananya had shared:

“Of course, it takes a toll on me. I can’t sit here and pretend I’m happy or I’m strong and I can deal with everything because I think as a 19-year-old, when you are constantly told that you are ugly or you are flat-chested, or you look a certain way or insult my parents or my sister, it gets a little scary and gets a little sad sometimes because I am like what did I do so wrong you know.”

Earlier, during the promotion of her film, the Gehraiyaan actress, Ananya Panday was insanely trolled for donning a glamourous red dress. Talking about the same in an interview with the Hindustan Times, Ananya’s father, Chunky Panday had talked about the negativity that she got over her outfit. In his words:

“We, as parents, have never told her what to wear and what not to. We brought up both of our daughters quite well, and they are very sensible. Ananya is in show business today, and she needs to look glamorous. She should put her best foot forward and dress up.”

On the work front, Ananya Panday is set to break the box office records with her upcoming release, Linger.
